Internet Information Services (IIS)

Prerequisites

  • Dedicated server running Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher with at least 4 GB RAM and dual cores.
  • SQL Server Express
Please note that all installations must be run as an administrator with elevated privileges.

Installing

  1. Start the Server Manager tool and choose to ‘Add Roles and Features’.Internet Information Services (IIS)

  2. From the select Server Roles menu choose the ‘Web Server (IIS)’ role.Internet Information Services (IIS)

  3. On the Select Features screen click next.Internet Information Services (IIS)

  4. For the role services screen choose to add the following role services. On Windows Server 2012 R2 select the corresponding 4.5 options.Internet Information Services (IIS)

  5. Important: Restart the server.

  6. Internet Information Services (IIS) installation completed. Continue to Identity Provider (IDP).
